Getting started
First-time pet move? Your 14-day checklist
Days 14–10: paperwork
Confirm vaccinations are current. Book a vet appointment for the health certificate (most are valid 10 days from issue). If international, confirm NAQS permit is filed and rabies titre is back if required.
Days 10–4: crate acclimation
Receive the crate. Leave the door open at home with a familiar blanket and a treat inside. Don't force entry — let your pet investigate. Feed meals near, then inside, the crate. By day 4 most pets enter willingly.
Days 3–1: pre-travel
Confirm the route, handler ETA, and arrival contact with us on WhatsApp. Pack a small bag: 2 days of your pet's usual food, a bottle of the water they drink at home, their favourite toy, and a copy of the paperwork.
Travel day
Light feed 4 hours before pickup. Bathroom break at the gate. Calm handover — your pet reads your stress, so keep the goodbye short. We'll check in with photos at every waypoint.
Need this done for your pet?
